New York Bully Crew (NYBC) is a non-profit organization that focuses on rescuing and rehabilitating Pit Bulls. Regardless if the dog was neglected, involved in dogfighting, or was simply surrendered by its owner, NYBC will take them in with no questions asked.
Since 2010, the rescue team has helped rehabilitate Pit bulls to prepare them for their forever homes. No matter where the dog is, the team will travel across the country to provide help. They also work with international rescue groups to further their mission.
Ask Luna and Obi here. They are brothers and sisters who have been struggling on the streets when the rescue found them.
Emily, a foster with NYBC, took the siblings into her care. “I can take care of them. They don’t have to live in a shelter,” she said.
Obi can be shy and timid at times. But he warms up easily once he gets to know you. Luna, on the other hand, is more delicate. She loves to be held and treated like a baby.
Emily cared for the dogs for a couple of weeks. Then, the day came for Luna to meet his new parents. Mimi and Nate went to Emily’s house to personally meet and pick the pup up.
Once home, Luna immediately inspected every corner of her new home. She checked the kitchen, the bathroom, and of course, the couch.
A few days later, Obi’s new parents came for him. Brian and Melissa knew that it’s about time for them to adopt a second dog. So when they saw Obi’s Instagram photos, they didn’t think twice.
Just like his sister, Obi quickly inspected every room in his new home. And he has chosen his human brother’s room as his own, marking the territory.
The once starving, sick-looking siblings have now grown into healthy, active dogs. Luna and Obi deserve a loving forever home. Thanks to NYBC, they found what they were looking for.
